Disclosure: I was sent these Titus Basics Cock Rings for this review for free by CloneZone and would like to thank them for the opportunity to put them through their paces.

Packaging:

The Titus Basics Cock Rings come in a simple, clear plastic case that gives a good view of the products and contains a paper sleeve with a little information on the front and the back. It can be pulled open and closed shut without any tearing should you want to keep it for storing the rings. It’s simple, practical and isn’t going to take up much space in your toy box but nothing you will miss if you decide to bin it.

The Titus Basics Cock Rings:

CloneZone kindly sent me both of the cock ring sets from the Titus Basics range that is currently available and based on the feel of them I would say they are made from Jelly, though possibly a mix with PVC. Unfortunately I have had to guess as neither the packaging, nor the website actually explains what the material is, though they both do say that the cock rings are phthalate free.

Each of the rings in both packs are very stretchy so will accommodate pretty much any size. The Donut Rings are identical in size and come in three different colours where the Beaded Rings come in small, medium and large. The Beaded Rings also have the “beads” around the circumference of the ring in order to apply a little more pressure to various spots when worn.

In Use:

I am a big fan of cock rings and have used a wide range of them over the years either during sex or solo play and have found them to be extremely good at the very simple task that they perform, ie stronger erections and better orgasms. Depending on my mood I will use them in different ways, sometimes just one around the shaft or one around the shaft and one to act as a ball stretcher, sometimes adding a third to sit behind the balls and shaft or any combination.

During my solo play with these two sets I found that getting them into place was very simple as they are just so stretchy though I would recommend caution with the Donut rings because when they ping back to size it can be a shock if you slip! The Donut rings worked really well at the base of the shaft or behind the shaft and balls providing quite a bit of pressure and keeping the blood where it was supposed to be. Around the balls, acting like a stretcher was very intense and for me personally a little too much but would work wonderfully for someone into CBT!

The beaded cock rings are thinner than the Donuts and don’t apply as much pressure which was better suited for me in regards to having one of them around my balls. However they didn’t do as well on the shaft or behind for me though this is just personal preference in the amount of pressure that I enjoy on those areas. The additional “beads” also didn’t create any noticeable difference for me, I understand the principle but honestly I think anyone would be hard pressed to notice any significant effect.

In terms of cleaning you just have to use some warm water, antibacterial soap and finish off with your sex toy cleaner of choice before leaving to air dry and put away until next time. Simples!

Conclusion:

Between the two packs I prefer the Donut Rings personally, this is mainly for the increased pressure that they apply when using them as it is just better suited to my tastes. That said both packs are great basic sets of cock rings and the Beaded ones would be better suited to someone who has never tried them before. I dislike that the material isn’t published but the Phthalate free nature of them is a plus and they do what they set out to do well.

At £9.99 for either of the packs you aren’t going to break the bank in picking either of these up and for a pack of three that’s a fair price for some no fuss, basic cock rings that you will get plenty of use out of before having to replace them.
